Congratulations! You have just made the decision to make a change in your life and you want to do by trying your hands on MMA workout. Of course, you plan on starting right away. That’s good. That’s really commendable. However, doing so is actually much easier said than done, more so if you’ve become quite the couch potato over time.

Still, even if starting and sticking to your own MMA workout routine isn’t easy, that doesn’t mean it’s downright impossible.

Your MMA workout plan is no small feat. In fact, it’s going to take a lot out of you, which is why you have to start small. Though, that doesn’t mean you should just scrap the whole idea.

For starters, adjust your schedule so you end up driving to the gym and sitting in the parking lot. Do that for a few days and you’ll soon find yourself stepping in, finding a schedule that fits, attending classes and who knows, you may even start eating healthy again.

  1. Work fast.

Our brain has a way of screwing with how we see things. Like, if we don’t go to the gym in, let’s say, the next three weeks or so, we’ll automatically feel negative about the whole thing right from then.

So, if you really want to stick to your MMA workout routine, you have to work fast.

  1. Be specific with your goals.

Don’t just write down “go to the gym” and be done with that. Since we’re talking about MMA, write a goal that’s related to it.

Like, for example, writing down “being able to do a single round kick without falling down in a few weeks” or that sort of thing. This way, you not only go to the gym, but you actually work while you’re there to achieve that goal of yours.

  1. Visualize yourself training.

If you can’t visualize a goal, then it’s highly likely that you won’t be able to achieve it. It is that simple.

So, if you want to follow through with your all new MMA workout plan, you should try to visualize yourself going to the gym and working out.

Sooner or later, your thoughts will become a reality, then eventually, your reality will become a habit that will become part of your daily routine.

Don’t do it tomorrow. Don’t do it next week. Don’t even wait for the New Year to come just to do it.
